Bicycle Exercise is the Most Effective Abs Exercise

The most common desire of people nowadays is to learn the most effective abs exercise. Some experts came up with a study and conclusion that bicycle exercise is the most effective abs exercise. It must be known that even if these exercises don’t really classify reduction of fats, it is still important in keeping a healthy body and a protected spine. The most targeted muscle, also known as the six pack muscle, is the rectus abdominis.

Cycling has been known since then and is believed to be a good exercise in maintaining good muscle tone. Muscle tone keeps the muscles healthy. Here are the ways in doing a bicycle exercise correctly.

1.You lie with your back on the floor then place your fingers behind your head. Make sure that you are comfortably laid on the floor.

2. You bring your knees in towards your chest and lift your shoulder blades away from the ground without pulling on the neck. Avoid over stretching your neck muscles. Allow the abs muscles to bring you upper body up.

3.You straighten your left leg out to about a 45 degree angle and you simultaneously turn the upper body to the right while bringing the left elbow to your right knee. This could help you develop your coordination with your body parts.

4. You then switch sides as you bring your right elbow towards your left knee. It’s doing the reverse of no. 3.

5. You continue doing the ‘pedaling’ motion on alternate sides for 12 to 16 times.

As you continue doing this exercise, you will get the benefit of strengthening your abdominal muscles. You will also realize that you have achieved your most desired body abs. Make sure that you have your doctors check you if you have any injuries or any altered medical conditions.
